3. How is Derbyshire different to other home builders?

This is a question I’m often asked when people approach me about building their new home.

My answer is always something like this …

Firstly, Derbyshire is not a volume builder. We are a Geelong-based boutique custom home builder focused on individual homes designed to suit each client.

People are at the heart of our business. That begins with having creative and approachable staff who enjoy working with clients to create stunning one-off homes.

At Derbyshire we focus on listening carefully to clients. How else can we create a home that will improve how they live? We genuinely care about their home and building great working relationships.

Attention to detail is a key factor. Clients have the ability to make design changes to ensure we get it right. Their vision is then brought to life by the same tradespeople I have hand picked over the years due to their passion, expertise and positive attitude.

We are also dedicated to offering the latest in sustainable design and construction to enable clients to live in energy efficient homes that are future-proof and better for their wellbeing.

While the size and price of the homes we build may vary depending on the needs and budgets of our clients, there are a few things that always come standard – quality, care and wow factor. That is the Derbyshire difference.
